Ultimate Apiary Adventure
Service Description
Start your day off with a beekeeping tour led by our experienced beekeeper to learn about the fascinating lives of bees. Taste samples of their work (honey) and suit up, just like a beekeeper does, and see the sisterhood of honeybees at work inside the hive. (Great photo opps!) Then, you will join our educator to take a deep dive into the world of honey as you explore the wide variety of colors, aromas, and flavors of 7 different honeys from across the United States. You will expand your palette, discover how to pinpoint the words to describe what you are experiencing, and learn to identify honeys based on the plants the bees used to gather the nectar from. After learning about honey, join us at our Honey Bar to taste up to 20 additional honeys from around the world, armed with your knowledge of how to best appreciate honey. As you work your way through the honey bar, enjoy your own charcuterie plate from a local restaurant that you can pair with your choice of honeys.
